The Queensland Moto Park at Wyaralong, an exciting new facility for the 230,000 trail bike enthusiasts in South East Queensland, was opened today by Council of Mayors (SEQ) Chairman Graham Quirk and Sport Minister Phil Reeves.
It is only one week away from the Public Opening of the new Queensland Moto Park (Wyaralong) and it almost feels like a blur! We have our official opening this weekend and riding to the public kicks off on Tuesday.
17th October 2011 Australias newest trail bike park, the Queensland Moto Park at Wyaralong in South East Queensland is edging closer to completion of Stage 1 and will be officially opened by the Queensland Premier, Anna Bligh on 18 December 2011.
Market evaluation on recreational Trail Bike riding was undertaken and then a full Business Case Analysis was prepared to support the proposal to establish the public facility.

Queenslands newest Trail Bike facility at Wyaralong in South East Queensland has successfully hosted the launch of the 2012 range of KTM off-road motorcycles over 2 weekends of July 30th and August 6 and 7.
The work is definitely taking off at the Wyaralong Moto Park, and the road is almost complete! It has only cost a small fortune (you don't want to know what it costs to build a road) but it looks great!
It has been a very busy week at Boonah, Schuie and I have spent way too much time working on things that shouldn't have broken down, but that's what happens unfortunately. But I thought I'd just show a photo of how we water a 1.5km long track with a 10 tonne truck - by dragging it around with a Loader!
You know things are coming along when the power lines have been put in for the park! I haven't been to the park in a few weeks, and it was a nice surprise to see the $1.75 million road almost finished, and we found the powerlines were up too! Let's hope for a late 2011 Opening still!
