Wyaralong Regional Trail Bike Facility hosts the KTM 2012 Off-Road Motorcycle launch
While the Wyaralong Trail Bike Facility will be open in late 2011, the decision to host the KTM 2012 launch during construction was an integral step in increasing public awareness of the new Trail Bike facility to the broader community.
To demonstrate the more extreme aspects of the KTM range, A Freestyle Motocross demonstration was performed at the Dealer Launch by two of Motorcycling Queenslands partners in the Wyaralong operation and professional Freestyle Motocross riders, Matt Schubring and Steve Sommerfeld.
Motorcycling Queenslands General Manager, Lindsay Granger, said the KTM 2012 Dealer Conference and Dirt Days were a success for pre-opening promotion of the South East Queensland Facility.Were just pleased to see that so many riders were able to have a positive experience of Wyaralong and the new KTM range Granger said.
The Wyaralong Trail Bike Facility is still aiming to be completed for late 2011, with current road construction and electricity installation under way, also surveys for fence lines, caretakers residence, water supply, dam planning and site office planning.
Wyaralong Trail Bike Facility is currently being developed as a joint initiative between the Queensland Government, Council of Mayors (South East Queensland) and Motorcycling Queensland.
