New Queensland Moto Park information - Oh and it's named Queensland Moto Park!
QUEENSLAND MOTO PARK (Wyaralong) - Background
Motorcycling Queensland (MQ) has been aware of the need for a dedicated recreational motorcycling facility and when the Queensland Government and the Council of Mayors (South East Queensland) called for tenders on land near Boonah, MQ successfully tendered for the operating rights.
We have formed a working partnership with Australian Dirt Bike Adventures (Ray Buchanan), Moto Solutions (Matt Schubring) and Invert Management (Steve Sommerfeld) to ensure that the park will have the best track and trail designs for a wide range of motorcycling disciplines.
MQ engaged JW Concepts (Jonathan Weinert) as the Master Planners for the site and this has paid off already with an exciting design which has won the Environmental Management Award at the 2011 National Landscape Architecture Awards.
Queensland Moto Park are working with respected businesses to deliver the best facilities to South East Queenslands trail bike riders. If your business is interested in supporting the building and infrastructure stages of the park, please contact Motorcycling Queensland info@mqld.org.au or (07) 3281 2255.
