Bike Park progress

SSFMXCoaching_-_Ramps2Since arriving back in Australia 2 weeks ago, I've been absolutely flat out and one of those reasons is the reinvigoration of the Trail Bike park in Queensland.  The current government has finally agreed to support a trail bike park to help the needs of South East Queensland's some 300,000 moto riders who have nowhere to go.

Schuie and I have been working with local councils and the state government to help fix the problem and this past 2 weeks we've been in and out of meetings which is culminating in some really good progress.

The park will be near Boonah, which is Schuie's home town so he has the home-town knowledge on the area.  So roughly it will be one hour from Brisbane and one hour from the Gold Coast and Toowoomba to make it much more accessible to trail riders in South East Queensland than any other park.  The government is committing it to be available to anyone that has a motorbike and we can't wait for it to be finished.

Unfortunately a lot of the information is confidential and I can't discuss it as much as I'd like to let everyone know it's coming along well.  The main thing is, after the couple of years work it is looking a lot better and I hope to have more updates in the next few weeks on the topic.
