Belgium trip
Sunday, 31 May 2009 19:00
Well, even without being able to ride, I headed to Belgium during May which was one of the best experiences I’ve had.  I met quite a lot of top riders and guys in Europe and hopefully it can help for later trips overseas for shows and competitions.

One of the highlights was definitely pulling on my first pair of boots in 2 months and having a ride on the Team FMX4Ever bike and riding the world famous Lommel MX track which is the Belgian track in the World GP of Motocross racing.  It hurt a bit, but I managed to do 3 laps, so I can say I’ve ridden it and it was one hell of an experience.

Hopefully it won’t be the last trip to Belgium though, the country is one of the smallest in Europe but its people have their priorities right.  Soccer is the number one sport.. Motocross is the number two mainstream sport!
I’m writing a story on the trip for both the new FreeriderMX.com.au website and also the European FMX site, Forty8.de.  So those stories should be finished within the week and up online with a few photo’s of the trip.
