Well it was tough getting through the holiday in Bali, but I think I came out of it ok on the other end. Although I feel like I need a holiday from the holiday... it was hectic with so many things to do!
The second round of the powercross series had it all, extreme heat and humidity, a track that was full of rubbish mixed in with the dirt, 2 sections of the stage collapsed and the two big international riders were disqualified at the end of their 4 x 7 lap races which led to a protest to the rules.
During the week we headed from the last round at Malang in the mountains which I thought was hot, down the mountain to Yogyakarta (or known as Jogja) where we really saw how freakin’ hot Indonesia could get. The only thing hotter was the chilli’s we ate!

It’s not very often you have those moments in your life when you think ‘Does it get any better than this’? Well today was one of them. What started out the night before as a seemingly low-key meet and greet with Malang’s Mayor Edi Rumpoko turned out to be one of the best days we have ever had.
