more news on trail bike park

Wyaralong_siteThe vision of a massive trail bike park in Queensland is getting closer to reality.  With the drafts of the State Planning Regulatory Provisions released for public viewing and comments, it means the process is closing in on completion and we're working hard to finish the job.

I spent the past week working around the clock with Schuie and Moto Solutions to put together our proposal for the Trail Bike park near the Wyaralong Dam between Boonah and Beaudesert.

The future looks very bright for South East Queensland and for the overall motorcycling community as what is done at Wyaralong can be replicated all over Australia.  If Schuie and I have anything to do with it, it will be the best recreational place to ride your dirt bike in the world.

With 745 hectares, there will be more than enough room to build what the off road motorcycling community needs.

The timeline for the park is getting pushed back a little, but they are still somewhere in the vicinity the government promised a few months back.  We have a briefing towards the end of May and then we should know more about the completion of the tender process in June/July.  So that's when the big news will come out and we can only hope it's a positive for Moto Solutions.

This is the map provided of the area the Wyaralong Trail Bike Park may use.

Check back regularly for more information on the process and to keep up to date on all progress.
