After an incredible ride so far in trying to build a Dirt Bike Park in South East Queensland with Matt Schubring, our planning stages hit a snag over the weekend as
the LNP party were narrowly beaten by Labor in the Queensland State Elections. This was unfortunate because the LNP had promised $3 Million in support for infrastructure of a bike park which we were going to spend up big time on a park. We have gone back a step or two, but luckily we have worked well with the current and newly re-elected Labor government and hope to continue our progress on building the park very shortly. Anna Bligh the Premier and Paul Lucas (deputy Premier) have both visited the proposed site and both agreed it is the only real location and the best plan submitted. So we still have a very good look-in, but it will now take a little bit longer after the election process. Stay tuned.
