It's been seen before in testing, and I've tested an electric moto myself while I was in Belgium last year, but only 2 days before the Japan Motorcycle Expo where KTM were to release images of their new KTM Electric bike... the shots have already been leaked!

Is this the future of Motocross?? No heavenly sound of a high-revving 2-stroke, no grunty growl of a 450 opening up on a long straight.  No sweet smell of a 2-stroke using castor oil to indulge your passion for a high performance machine?

Here is the KTM Electric motorcycle, with none of the above.  But what it does give us is the chance to ride without getting in trouble from neighbours!  Finally no more whinging right?

Well we will see what will come from it, but I personally love to see innovation and I'm glad that after jumping over to the KTM brand of dirt cycles that they are continually pushing the envelope and trying new things.
