Time for the knife

It feels like it's taken forever, but I'm going in for surgery in about.. ohh 2 hours!  So I can't wait to wake up with a fully functioning shoulder again.  But talk about problems... man private health can suck bad sometimes.

It's been just over 2 weeks since the crash in New Zealand at the Farm Jam competition while we were filming with a helicopter and it feels like it was an eternity ago.  I've been sitting around in the lounge all that time, keeping myself amused by moving my shoulder up and down and seeing the two bones move over each other.  Kind of freaky, but it hasn't hurt as much as I thought it would.

Anyway, with a massive hiccup with my private health insurance that they didn't bother to mention anything about an 'Accident' form, I have to pay up front for the surgery.  OUCH!  That hurts the wallet.  Ah well, at least I have proof that it was due to an accident... Alan Hardy got great footage of the 'accident' haha.

I'll let you know how I go tomorrow when I get home from hospital how it all went and if I had to order out for Subway rather than the hospital food.

Oh, and a huge thanks to everyone who has helped after I came off.  Rachael for looking after me, Mum of course, Dan Frew for helping organise everything while I was in NZ, Frankie for sitting with me while we were both broken and watching the cricket, Dean for borrowing the bike and not worrying too much about the broken parts (the package will be there soon!)  Smakker for putting my pants on for me haha
