While I was spending so much time putting together video's from my helmet camera's, I thought - why not put one on Rachael's helmet and get a cool hot lap of the mini bike track I made for her. So this is what Rach came up with...
It's funny, when I met Rach she was the nicest girl (and still is), and her only worries in life was what the next book she would read, shakespeare play to watch or something to do with old English history. I never could have imagined her riding a dirt bike, not in a million years - she was just too nice and a 'girly' girl to do that.
Well, now she loves nothing more than the smell of petrol fumes, dust and dirt all over her new Fox gear and going for trail rides on the farm on her new DRZ 125. I first made the mini bike track for her TTR-50 which was modded up with GYTR suspension, pegs, bars, Pro Circuit T4 pipe/silencer and I-shock - well that was until between Schuie and I, it was run over by a bulldozer. Woops.
So now she has the new DRZ 125 which is a fair bit bigger and she's picked up pretty quick with the clutch and gears. I even got her to go over a creek crossing which I thought she would have backed out of. But nothing like a little peer pressure, right?
I put the Tachyon XC helmet cam from SportsCamera.com.au on her helmet, and then followed her around with the EpicHD to get the footage. Thanks to Ryan for the tunes again!
Anyway - check the video - I think I have to make the jumps bigger for her now, they're just not big enough for the new bike now.
